About us
Hamza and Afshan created Urban Islamic Wear to gain a place in the world fashion industry.
Our aim is to place Islamic modest clothing high on the list of top fashion clothes for Muslim youngsters who like fashionable clothing and luxurious Islamic clothing with a lavish and elegant touch. We are working tirelessly to fulfil their rights to wear some of the most up to date fashionable clothing with the finest stitching methods. We have both worked in the field of fashion for a long time so we have had the right environment to fulfil our goals.
We aim to mix latest fashion with traditional Islamic fashion but to not lose the concept of Islamic clothing. Wearing Islamic clothing does not have to be dull or boring. We plan to make our own way to the fashion world by starting our own label named urban Islamic Wear. We aim to trigger a massive growth of Muslim males and females wearing Islamic inspired clothing around the globe. We have a unique style to our clothing and a person can tell when they are in front of an Urban Islamic Wear piece by our signature designs. We aim to set a global trend for Islamic fashion as Islam is the fastest growing religion in the world and we recognise its value. We are adding unique features to our clothing so that it meets the requirements of what is needed to make prayer with the wear and hold all the necessary tools for ibadat and worship, i.e tasbeeh, miswak and books.
Everyone is catching onto the trend of modest Islamic female wear and we are aiming for modest Islamic male wear. As men should also wear modest clothing in the world of mix gender clothing which is today’s fashion. Our clothing is aimed to represent the beauty of Islamic clothing. The demand for fashionable elegant Islamic clothing accommodating to religious standards is high and we wish to make a name for ourselves in this business as it is a sunnat of the Prophet Mohammed S.A.W and wearing Islamic clothes is a sunnat also so what better business for Muslims to get into. We do not source our clothing from other companies and everything is made in house. Males should wear loosely fitted clothing covering the navel to the knee. As Muslim males we have an obligation to wear modest clothing. We aim to in cooperate fashionable and modest clothing.
Each piece is made individually and designed individually. We do not deal with mass production each piece is crafted with the upmost care. We use a method of four stitches per piece of the Thobes/ Jabbas, Kurtas and on our women’s collection ensuring that not only does it look good but it is ready for ware and tare. Our Men’s and Women’s collections go hand in hand with our signature elements. Modest Islamic women’s wear cuts all the worries about layering garments. All our pieces are easy to complete wudu and the fabrics are amazing to wear in the hot seasons as well as in the winter.
